what is orp?  oxidation reduction potential is the rate that negative ions are measured.  the negative ions attach to the mineral content.  in vancouver, that seems to be a difficult process.  maybe it is the same elsewhere in the pacific northwest.  most of our water is rain water that falls into a pool reservoir and then is piped to the home.  since rain water is devoid of minerals and water sitting pipes are leeching metals/ plastics, water we get from our pipes are chlorinated and dead acidic water.

when dr ross measured the particulates in my tap water, it was 17 per million.  rather low number for mineral content.  since my reason for buying a ionizing system was to get antioxidant alkaline  water and a negative ion production from my machine.  i got the alkalining effect but my ionizing was not making me a happy camper.

the body is an alchemical reaction of polarity and ionic exchange.  cancer cells are known to not grow in an alkaline solution.   the cell is a positive magnetic reaction looking for a negative charge to be  effective.  toxins leave the cell and nutrients are absorbed.

imagine the cell, like a satellite, with antennae looking for the negative ion and when all it receives is acidic and positive charges, then the cell becomes dormant, the doors start closing.  not accepting any new nutrients and not cleaning out any of its toxic load.

positively the simplest way to see the reason to eat well, breath often and drink ionized water.

the only way to get ionized water is to be near an alkaline water source.  why?  because water with minerals will be  able to hold the charge.  even foods are best only in the first 24 hours of being harvested…within a week, that live charge is gone and we are eating dead food.

that is what i have learnt in the past two years about water which is built on the live food and macrobiotic teachings i have had the time and blessings to learn and practice.  so back to the ionic machines that i am selling.  knowing that the mineral content is low, what could i do to make my system more effective.  one was buying an orp meter to measure the negative ions in my water.  i was not happy with what i saw.  luckily last summer, ionways designed an triple calcium loaded remineralizing cartridge for the Athena.  i picked up three at the national convention in las vegas.

of course, i also did not have the right attachment for the assembly and had to wait for that part.  i got credit for  one that did not work.   since then i realized that i needed to shake the cartridge and it revives the internal components.  of course, it is just minerals and filters.  everything is just a simple case of jimmying the parts to work, sometimes.  i have extras of these cartridges because it is the main factor in making ionwater in vancouver.

i finally got a great reading on my meter.  i was getting the -300 that i wanted to see, time and time again.  whew.

of course, if it is happening with my system, then i know it is happening to every system out there.  whatever system you have has to have the same issue in vancouver.  the only way they do not, is if they have a good mineralizing set up before the ionization electrolysis process.  we have the best man for the job – jeff poole, who is the best filter man in the united states , working for ionways as vp of technical support.  he is a charming and very smart man.

i do know that enagic has a chemical solution and no filter system for their systems…so i feel that i am sitting on a good product at half the price.
