thanks giving…

alex and i on our way to whistler for thanksgiving!

alex and i on our way to whistler for thanksgiving!

i am grateful to know what is real for me.  it is a  skill that i nurture as much as i can.  i can be easily swayed to believe all that is out there but it only serves me when i am quiet and insightful with my ownness energy.

sourcing what is precious.  in the midst of world chaos and home drama, using the lessons that my teachers teach me.

one skill that i treasure is the time i spend learning meditation.   in  yoga classes or in blocks of time with the vipassana organization http://www.dhamma.org/, i am grateful that i journey to learn the technique.  it allows me to know that my breath and my focus are mine to discover.  without both, my life would be breathless and scattered.

i can make  space in the world.  make a commitment with myself.  see direction.  there is enough to do externally – internally, infinite.

one thing i always tell my clients,  the manual was not given when you were born.  how to use the body, mind and spirit.  once you have reached the top or bottom, you will still have to learn yourself.

i have been fortunate since i fell off the cliff in 1992.  it allows me to practice my life meditation with the focus to live.  anything else is not in the equation.  i go through my day with gratitude.

i want to thank my friend janine, for pointing that out this week.  she is such an inspiration for me.  when i am hopelessly human, she is able to show me what angels look like on this planet earth.

gratitude allows us all to be the best we can be.  we can acheive anything we want, if we are allowed to be grateful for our lives.

have a wonderful thanksgiving, eat sparingly and eat with the knowledge that others need us to be great, abundant and heartful.
